The stained-glass window of "Jesus knocking at the door" from
Zion's former fire-damaged building at 9th
Street has now been restored and placed in a nice back-lit oak
cabinet. Thanks go to Wayne Gfeller who coordinated with the Hutchinson
artist-craftsman who had done our current stained glass windows in the
nave. Memorial and Gifts chair Venice Facklam said this project has been
paid for from the window funds we had. Currently the cabinet is located
in the narthex and can be seen when coming in through the front door.
Lawnmowing
Ray Allaman is the
new schedule coordinator for church lawn mowing. If you would like to
volunteer to help, please see Ray or contact him at 238-4784.
